Enjoy a BBQ onboard before heading round to Trellis Bay for the afternoon.
Arrive in Trellis Bay, where the festive energy builds. The bay often glows with twinkling lights and local charm, and if you’re lucky, you may catch seasonal celebrations or a full moon party. It’s a magical place to soak in the anticipation of Christmas, island-style. With the choice to hop between the multitude of beachfront restaurants at Trellis Bay, Marina Cay, or Scrub Island, you'll have no shortage of fabulous dinner ideas!
Set sail early for the flat coral island of Anegada, a true Caribbean gem and a wonderfully unique location known for its endless white sand beaches, quaint beach shacks, and the large horseshoe-shaped reef that protects its immaculate shores. Spend the afternoon simply relaxing with a festive drink in hand – Christmas here is all about slowing down and soaking it all in! Take in the sunset with a delicious cocktail before ending off your evening tucking into a fresh Anegada lobster feast (in season) – a must-do!
Enjoy a full second day on Anegada, because one is never enough. Rent scooters, Mokes, or a jeep to explore the island. Visit the flamingo salt ponds, beach-hop between Loblolly Bay and Cow Wreck Beach, and snorkel Anegada's incredible reefs. End the day with another unforgettable dinner under the stars, this time at Sid's, Pomato Point — low-key, authentic, and some of the best tacos in the BVI!
While you can spend Christmas anywhere in the BVI and have an incredible time, we recommend one of the BVI’s most protected and picturesque cruising grounds – The North Sound! Christmas Eve in the North Sound is truly one-of-a-kind. The North Sound Light Parade kicks off with yachts adorned like Christmas trees and Santas galore! Boats sparkle across the anchorage, music fills the air, and the entire Sound transforms into a floating festive celebration. It’s a highlight of the season and an unforgettable experience for guests of all ages.
MERRY CHRISTMAS! Spend Christmas Day taking in all the North Sound has to offer – incredible conditions for water toys, paddleboarding, or hopping between beach clubs and resorts. Alternatively, cruise south to one of the BVI’s most iconic natural wonders—the Baths. Explore giant granite boulders, hidden pools, and sandy pathways. Either head back to the North Sound for the night or spend it in Spanish Town.
Today we're heading to Cooper Island – an eco-friendly resort with a relaxed beach club atmosphere.
