Wake up surrounded by European charm before a delicious breakfast and an easy sail over to Cala Di Volpe, situated in the heart of the Costa Smeralda. This gorgeous town has all of the glitz and glamour this stretch of Sardinian coast has to offer, but with a touch more tranquility, as it is less developed than some of its more popular neighbours. An old fishing village at heart, Cala di Volpe features pastel-colored homes and a classic Mediterranean port, all set against the beautiful backdrop of the mountains of Golfo Aranci and Isola Tavolara. You'll also find picture-perfect beaches with a laid-back vibe, perfect for an afternoon of swimming, lounging or cocktails on deck!
After a delightful brekkie on board, you'll set sail for La Maddalena, nicknamed the Secret Islands of Sardinia. Spend the day exploring the national park, famous for its photogenic beaches and translucent seas. Beach hop between Octopus Head Beach, Bassa Trinità , Cala Francese, and Spiaggia di Monte di Rena and make sure to pull your snorkels out, and plunge in to see what sits beneath the blue. In the evening, go for a charming stroll through the narrow streets of La Maddalena, exploring all the town has to offer.
After a delicious brunch onboard, you'll sail in the shadow of stunning white, limestone cliffs at the south end of Corsica towards the spectacular harbour town of Bonifacio. Steeped in history, there are plenty of sights to explore along the cobblestone streets of the old town, as well as fabulous viewpoints, including one from the Esplanade St Francois, where on a clear day you can see right across the bay to Sardinia. Worth a visit is the beautiful maritime cemetery and the old convent of St Francois. Spend the day soaking up old-town Italian bliss, followed by an incredible sunset and a gourmet dinner onboard!
Wake up, jump in for a dip in crystal clear waters and then head over to the Archipelago of Lavezzi, a collection of small, granite islands and reefs located between Corsica and Sardinia in the Strait of Bonifacio. The two main islands are Cavallo and Lavezzu, Cavallo being the only inhabited island of the group. The area is a protected nature reserve with abundant underwater sea life and marine birds, making it a nature lover's paradise. On arrival, enjoy a delicious brunch spread surrounded by crystal clear waters. Hop in with your snorkels and explore, or laze on one of the beautiful islands' soft, sandy beaches.
Once perfectly sun-soaked, enjoy a leisurely sail to Porto Rafael, a little hub characterized by its quaint square overlooking Cala Inglese and lovely white houses with colorful gardens. If you happen to be here on the 11th of August, you'll be able to enjoy the annual event in the town square, where participants dance in white tunics, celebrating the Count's birthday! Spend your last afternoon taking it all in whether you spend your afternoon exploring the town, lazing on the beach or swimming in crystal-clear waters.
Enjoy your last delicious breakfast and a final dip before cruising back to Olbia for your departure. Take in the views one last time as you approach the marina, disembark with bags full of memories and hearts set on returning to these turquoise waters again.
