Kick off your last vacation of the year with an easy sail to Cooper Island. Settle into the rhythm of island life with a swim in crystal-clear waters (look out for starfish!) and a relaxed afternoon on board. Enjoy sunset drinks at the Cooper Island Rum Bar overlooking the Sir Francis Drake Channel, followed by a laid-back dinner at their beach-club style restaurant.
After your first morning dip, sail across to Norman Island, a favourite for its dramatic scenery and vibrant anchorages. Spend your morning snorkeling at The Caves or relaxing on board before heading ashore for dinner at Pirate's Bight. From dinner, dinghy over to the iconic Willy T, a floating bar, and the perfect spot to watch the sun set.
Cruise west toward Jost Van Dyke, stopping at Diamond Cay for the quieter nature-centric side of the island. Dinghy over to Foxy's Taboo and hike to explore the Bubbly Pool – a natural jacuzzi formed by waves crashing against the rocks, a refreshing and must-visit spot. In the afternoon, dinghy over to Sandy Spit or Sandy Cay for a real 'Pirate's of the Caribbean' type adventure. Take in the panoramic views before a delicious dinner at Foxy's Taboo. This is your chance to recharge before the big New Year’s celebrations.
Make your way around to Great Harbour on Jost Van Dyke and secure your spot early, this is one of the most anticipated nights of the year in the BVI. New Year’s Eve at Foxy's is a spectacular party, with live performers, fireworks, delicious food, and endless drinks flowing well into the early hours. The harbour comes alive with music, dancing, and a buzzing crowd from around the world.
This celebration is best suited for over 18s and those ready to party the night away, expect high energy, a packed anchorage, and an unforgettable countdown to midnight under the Caribbean sky.
Ease into the New Year with a scenic sail along Tortola’s north shore towards gorgeous Guana Island. An epic ecological reserve brimming with wildlife, gauzy blue waters, and near perfect beaches. Enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch onboard and an unreal snorkel at Monkey Point before continuing on to Trellis Bay.
Trellis bay is known for its laid-back, culture-rich vibe – it's also a popular, more family-friendly spot for New Year's Eve. Head to Marina Cay and Scrub Island and spend the afternoon snorkelling, exploring or lazing on the beach. In the evening, head ashore to Trellis Bay and restaurant-hop along the beach.
Sail across to Virgin Gorda’s North Sound, one of the BVI’s most beautiful and protected cruising areas. A yachting paradise, the North Sound is a bright body of water that sits at the northeast of the island and is surrounded by islands that share the same reef complex - creating a calm and protected oasis for all manner of wildlife and watersports. Spend the afternoon enjoying water toys, beach clubs, or a leisurely lunch ashore. The calm waters and open space make this a favourite for unwinding and soaking up the first full days of the New Year. Hop between Saba Rock and Bitter End Yacht Club for dinner and drinks!
Head south to explore the iconic Baths – giant granite boulders, hidden pools, and winding pathways make this a must-see stop. The boulders have been adorned with ladders and ropes so you can climb and cross this natural obstacle course. Wallow in the warm rock water pools, soak up the sun, and be enchanted by the natural grottos.
Continue on to Peter Island for your final night. With sheltered anchorages, a peaceful atmosphere, and a newly-renovated resort, it’s the perfect place for a farewell dinner and one last Caribbean sunset. Settle in one of Peter Island's many gorgeous anchorages and spot turtles as you dive or snorkel.
Enjoy a final morning swim or coffee on deck before returning to Nanny Cay. Depart with unforgettable memories, having welcomed the New Year in true BVI style, on the water, under the stars, and in the heart of the Caribbean.
